I believe in giving and helping out whenever I can. I've been fortunate enough to get to know the guys from Needtobreathe and have worked with them on charity events before. They host a charity golf and auction event in Charleston that benefits One World Health, an organization dedicated to taking medical care to parts of the world that need it most. This year I was asked to create a guitar to be auctioned off at the event, and I worked with Bo and Bear Rinehart to design something inspired by the cover art of their last album, Rivers in the Wasteland. It was auctioned with a signed vinyl copy of Rivers in the Wasteland as well as a tour-used Needtobreathe hard case. The guitar far surpassed my expectations and sold for $31,000, and the auction raised over $160,000 total.
